We love to say “yes."

If everything in our line seems a bit unusual, that’s because it is. And that’s intentional.

We pride ourselves on not being run of the mill. On having exceptional quality, distinctive packaging and appropriate pricing. We only offer products that you don’t see everywhere. But once you try them, you wonder why you don’t. Everything we carry is delicious, affordable and surprisingly habit forming.
How we decide what to sell:

We’re always on the lookout for the next thing. And, because we’re an international company, it can come from anywhere in the world. There are just a few requirements: we only want to add a product if it looks good, tastes good and has its own unique appeal.  

Quite often friends bring it to our attention. Sometimes in our travels we stumble on a product all by ourselves. Not surprisingly, there are many candidates. But only if one seems especially worthy, do we start the research.

We want to know everything: Who’s the manufacturer? Where is it available now? Who’s buying it? How often? Why are we the only ones who seem to think that it has more potential?

To get those answers, we go straight to the manufacturer and speak with the owners and managers. We check out the facilities. We run taste tests and consumer panels. 

More often than not, we say “no”. 

There are usually a lot of reasons to stop. Sometimes it’s the company or the quality. Sometimes it’s the marketplace. And sometimes we just can’t generate the enthusiasm we know it will take for the product to be successful.

But occasionally all the stars align. And on the rare occasion when that happens, we gather our senior team, conceive a business plan and begin to test the water.

Next stop: the real world. If the reception is good, we bring a new baby into the fold. If it’s not, we either give up or try harder.  

Eventually, the truth wins out. But if we’re still talking to you about anything in our lineup, you can be certain that it’s a proven winner.
